About Zadie
I am a dedicated piano teacher with over nine years of experience guiding students towards their musical goals. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Piano and have trained students preparing for music exams, college auditions, and professional performances. My teaching approach is personalised, motivating, and focused on helping each student reach their full potential.
I believe that every learner has their own rhythm, and my role is to bring out their unique musical identity. My lessons balance technical precision with creative expression, ensuring students not only play accurately but also perform with feeling. I work closely with learners to strengthen their sight-reading, improvisation, and stage confidence.
I create a supportive environment that challenges students while keeping the joy of music alive. Each lesson is designed to inspire progress and self-expression. My teaching approach to piano focuses on creativity, confidence, and steady growth. I believe every student has a unique musical voice, and my goal is to help them discover and develop it with joy. My lessons combine technique with musicality, ensuring students not only play the notes but also feel the music deeply.
I design individualised lesson plans that suit each learner’s pace, goals, and preferred style of learning. I teach a wide range of genres—from classical and jazz to pop, soul, and modern pieces—so students can explore what truly inspires them. For those who use music as a form of emotional expression or creative outlet, I create a calm and encouraging space to play freely and grow. My lessons include ear training, rhythm development, and music theory, helping students understand the structure and emotion behind every piece.
I guide learners to build confidence through consistent practice and achievable goals. Mistakes are treated as part of the learning process, and progress is celebrated at every step. Whether students aim to compose their own melodies, perform, or simply find joy in music, I’m here to support them fully. My approach nurtures both skill and imagination, turning piano learning into a meaningful, lifelong journey.
