About Sony
As an enthusiastic Violin tutor with 6 years of experience and approximately 150 students trained, I am dedicated to guiding learners towards musical excellence. My teaching philosophy combines discipline, encouragement, and structured progress. I begin by strengthening essential skills such as posture correction, smooth bow movement, accurate fingering, tone refinement, and scale practice.
Once students gain control and stability, I gradually introduce advanced bow strokes, dynamic variations, and expressive interpretation. I adapt lessons to suit individual learning speeds and aspirations, ensuring steady development. I also integrate basic music theory and ear training to enhance overall musicianship.
My unique strength lies in building student confidence and helping them overcome technical and performance challenges. My mission is to shape skilled, confident, and passionate violinists.

My violin teaching methodology combines structure, flexibility, and real-world understanding. I begin by identifying the student’s goals, whether they are learning for hobby, school programmes, certifications, or professional growth.
Based on their objectives, I create a personalised lesson plan. I adapt my teaching style to match their learning speed and strengths. I emphasise building strong fundamentals in posture, finger positioning, bow technique, tone refinement, and rhythmic accuracy.
In addition to violin practice, I teach music theory, scale systems, ear training, sight reading, harmony basics, and simple improvisation. I use real-life case studies such as preparing for recitals, managing stage fear, and participating in orchestra rehearsals.
My goal is to develop well-rounded violinists who combine technical skill with emotional expression.
