About Olowookere
I'm Olowookere Funmilayo, and I'm so excited to be your teacher. My passion for the Yoruba language stems from growing up in a Yoruba speaking house and being nurtured through it. Which has created a deep connection to the Yoruba heritage. I believe learning Yoruba is a rewarding gateway to understanding a rich culture, and I'm eager to share that joy with you. My aim is to create a supportive and professional environment where you can confidently build your language skills.

This Yoruba language tutoring session offers a comprehensive introduction to the language and culture. My approach involves personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to your learning style. I utilize a communicative teaching methodology, emphasizing speaking and listening through interactive exercises and real-life scenarios. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, allowing for thorough engagement. As a qualified teacher with 8 years of experience, I specialize in teaching beginner to intermediate levels for adults and older teenagers eager to connect with Yoruba heritage.
