About Nonhlanhla

Hi! I’m a patient and enthusiastic tutor who genuinely enjoys helping learners grow in confidence. I love teaching English, reading and writing, and I believe learning works best when a student feels comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I have experience tutoring Grade 10–12 learners and I’m passionate about helping students understand their work rather than simply memorising it. I’m especially patient with learners who need a little extra encouragement or a different way of explaining things. My goal is to make every lesson supportive, engaging and useful, while helping each learner become more confident and independent.

About the lesson

My lessons are relaxed, interactive and adapted to each learner’s needs. Before introducing a new topic, I like to find out what the learner already understands and where they are struggling. Depending on the learner, lessons can include reading practice, writing exercises, grammar, homework assistance, exam preparation, comprehension and general English support. I use questions, discussion and practical examples to help learners understand concepts instead of simply memorising answers. Lessons are currently offered online, making it convenient for learners to learn from the comfort of home. Most importantly, I want students to leave each lesson feeling that they understand something a little better than they did before.

My rate is **R150 per hour** for online tutoring. Lessons are tailored to each learner’s needs, whether they need help with English, reading, writing, homework, comprehension or exam preparation. I also offer a **free first lesson/introductory session** where we can get to know each other, discuss the learner’s goals and identify areas where they need support. Lessons are conducted online and can be arranged around the learner’s schedule.
