About Linda

My house is like a bomb site with yarn, buttons, fabrics, threads, ribbons, hooks, needles, scissors and all sorts of haberdashery. I'll never use it all. There is never a minute of the day when I'm not crafting in some way - well maybe not in the shower!
I'm a crafting junkie - I'm always learning new ones and can currently turn my hand to maybe 30 or so proficiently and another 20 at a basic level.
I have a great deal of patience and have been knitting and crocheting all my life so have explored all types, genres and specialisms - purely out of interest.
Life's too short not to enjoy every minute - so let me show you how it can be fun and you'll never look back.

About the lesson

Looking for an inexpensive way to relax that you can take anywhere. do anywhere and has a purpose? Let your mind wander and wind down to the rhythm of the hook or needles for 5mins or for 5 hours - no pressure.
Think you can't Crochet, Knit or Craft? Tried before but got into a mess?
No one's perfect first time - think of the first time you tried to drive a car, swim, ride a bike - we're not born experts at anything - except maybe breathing.
We start at whatever level you're already at and work at your pace. You can have a project in mind to work on or I have hundreds of suggestions and patterns to choose from.
Lessons are usually for 2 hours - you choose, for people over 12yrs, beginner or experienced, weekly or ad hoc.
As a experienced knitter I taught myself to crochet 40 years ago and now have multiple websites and craft stalls selling my items.
Do you find those weird chart patterns impossible to follow? Digital patterns, YouTube videos - it all gets a bit overwhelming - where to start? We can simplify it together. All you need to start will be provided.

Lovely determined young lady who does not give up easily. She hasn't found it easy by any means but she has practised and kept trying until she has succeed. I would think with this kind of dedication she will go far in anything she puts her mind to.
