My name is Jessica, and I bring over 25 years of professional experience in the technology sector directly to our lessons. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Technology, I have spent my career navigating the evolution of digital tools, hardware, and software in educational environments.
As a homeschooling mother, I understand that technology can often feel overwhelming. My goal is to bridge the gap between complex technical systems and practical, everyday mastery. Whether you are working on a PC or a Mac, I provide a professional, structured, and patient learning environment. My extensive background allows me to offer more than just "how-to" instructions; I provide the context and foundational knowledge that helps students become truly tech-savvy and self-sufficient.

My Methodology & Approach
I believe technology should be a tool for empowerment, not a source of frustration. My teaching method is hands-on and project-based, focusing on "learning by doing." I break down complex technical jargon into simple, relatable concepts, ensuring students understand the logic behind the software, not just which buttons to click.
A Typical Lesson
The Check-in: We start by identifying a specific goal or "pain point" (e.g., "I need to organize my files" or "I want to create a standout presentation").
Guided Practice: I demonstrate a technique on my screen (PC or Mac), and then we switch so you can perform the task with my real-time guidance.
The Wrap-Up: We create a quick "cheat sheet" or summary of what we covered to ensure retention for the next session.
