About Mijung
I truly understand how challenging it can be to learn a brand-new language — I’ve been through that journey myself! Because of this, I’m very patient and supportive, and I always try to make learning Korean fun, relaxed, and confidence-boosting.
I worked as a teacher in Korea, and here in Australia I’ve taught Hangul (Korean reading and writing) to my own children as well as at a Korean language school. I love helping students learn in a way that suits them — everyone learns differently, and I believe the best learning happens when lessons feel enjoyable and achievable.

My name is Mijung- Amy and I’ve been living in Australia for the past 16 years after moving from Korea.
I truly understand how challenging it can be to learn a brand-new language — I’ve been through that journey myself! Because of this, I’m very patient and supportive, and I always try to make learning Korean fun, relaxed, and confidence-boosting.
I worked as a teacher in Korea, and in Australia I’ve taught Hangul and Korean through a Korean language school and by teaching my own children. I specialise in helping adult learners feel comfortable, confident, and motivated.
My lessons are relaxed, practical, and fun!
