About Malcolm
I am a committed piano tutor with over 11+ years of teaching experience, helping students from school, college, and working professional backgrounds learn and improve their musical skills. I am passionate about making music education simple and accessible.
My teaching style focuses on communication, patience, and structured learning. I adapt my lessons based on each student’s level and goals, ensuring they build a strong foundation before moving to advanced topics. I teach piano along with music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to support complete understanding.
I include practical examples and song practice to make lessons more engaging. My unique skill is creating simple learning methods that make complex topics easy to understand. I help students develop discipline, confidence, and consistency. I aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn and enjoy music.

My teaching methodology is engaging, flexible, and creative. I believe piano lessons should inspire students to express themselves musically, develop technical skills, and enjoy the learning process. Through open communication, I understand each student’s goals, challenges, and learning style, which allows me to create lessons that are personalized, motivating, and effective.
Creativity is central to my approach. Students explore improvisation, compose their own pieces, and experiment with different musical styles, fostering originality, confidence, and self-expression. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and learning preferences, making learning productive, enjoyable, and stress-free.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic methodology strengthens technical mastery, expressive skills, and musical understanding. My aim is to nurture confident, expressive, and lifelong musicians who enjoy exploring and performing music.
