About Katarina
I enjoy creating piano lessons that are enjoyable, practical, and tailored to each student's needs. With more than 12 years of experience teaching college students, I help learners improve their confidence while building a strong musical foundation.
My teaching style combines patience, organization, and clear communication. I explain every topic in simple English and use practical examples that help students understand and remember what they learn.
I use innovative teaching methods such as technology-assisted learning, rhythm practice, ear training, listening exercises, and personalized lesson materials. These methods make lessons interactive and encourage faster improvement.
Students improve note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, and expressive playing. I provide regular assessments and customized learning plans that support long-term growth.

My teaching methodology is based on helping students understand music in a practical and enjoyable way. Every student receives individual attention because I believe personalized learning produces the best results.
I explain musical concepts using real-life examples and simple case studies. Rhythm is related to everyday activities, music theory is connected with familiar songs, and practical situations help students understand performance techniques. This approach makes learning easier and builds confidence.
Understanding is at the center of my lessons. Students are encouraged to ask questions, think independently, and fully understand every concept before moving forward.
Communication is clear, friendly, and encouraging. I provide demonstrations, simple explanations, and regular feedback that supports continuous improvement.
Integrity is reflected in my commitment to honesty, respect, punctuality, and professionalism. Along with piano, I teach keyboard, music theory, sight reading, ear training, improvisation, rhythm exercises, accompaniment, finger techniques, and beginner music composition. My aim is to help students become skilled, confident, and lifelong musicians.
