About Merrin
For over 12 years, I have been helping students develop their voices and achieve confidence through music. I teach Singing to School students, College students, and Working Professionals, offering personalized lessons that cater to different learning styles and aspirations.
My teaching approach combines technical training with creativity and self-expression. I begin by evaluating each student's abilities and goals before creating a learning plan designed to support steady growth. This ensures that lessons remain engaging and effective.
My classes focus on vocal warm-ups, breath support, pitch accuracy, rhythm practice, tone development, diction, vocal expression, and performance preparation. Through guided practice sessions and real-song applications, students gain practical experience and confidence in their abilities.
Besides Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, Song Interpretation, and Music Appreciation. These complementary subjects help students deepen their understanding of music and strengthen their overall musicianship. I also provide guidance on vocal care and productive practice strategies.
I strive to create a learning atmosphere where students feel supported, motivated, and inspired. My mission is to help learners discover their unique voices and achieve success in their musical journeys.

My teaching methodology for Singing combines flexibility, creativity, understanding, and time management to provide students with a complete learning experience. I focus on helping students build strong vocal foundations while developing confidence, musicality, and performance skills.
The learning journey begins with understanding each student's abilities, goals, and learning preferences. This allows me to create personalized lessons that support long-term growth and success.
Creativity is integrated into every lesson through engaging vocal exercises, song analysis, listening activities, and performance opportunities. These methods help students remain motivated while strengthening their skills.
My lessons focus on breath support, pitch control, rhythm accuracy, diction, vocal resonance, emotional communication, and stage presence. Students learn practical techniques that improve both technical and artistic performance.
Understanding and patience create a positive learning atmosphere where students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Time management ensures that every lesson is balanced and productive. Sessions include structured warm-ups, technical development, song practice, and progress evaluation.
In addition to Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Singing, Vocal Wellness, and Performance Skills. My goal is to help students become confident, accomplished, and passionate singers who continue to enjoy music throughout their lives.
