About Effie
I am a passionate singing tutor with 9 years of teaching and professional experience working with school and college students. Music has always been a very important part of my life, and teaching allows me to share that passion with others. I enjoy helping students discover their voice and develop confidence in their singing ability.
Over the years, I have worked with many beginners who started with very little knowledge of music, but through consistent practice and proper guidance they improved their skills and became confident singers. Some of my students have successfully performed in school concerts, college cultural events, and talent programmes.
These moments are some of the proudest milestones in my teaching journey. My lessons focus on building strong vocal fundamentals such as breathing techniques, pitch accuracy, rhythm understanding, and voice control. I also encourage students to understand the emotions behind the songs they sing so that their performances become more expressive. My goal is to create a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring their talent and enjoying the beauty of music.

My teaching style for singing emphasises flexibility, creativity, understanding, and efficient time management. I believe that learning music should be both structured and enjoyable. I begin by teaching fundamental skills such as breathing techniques, posture, and pitch accuracy to build a strong vocal foundation.
Creativity is an essential part of my lessons because it helps students express their emotions through music. I encourage students to experiment with different songs and styles, helping them develop a personal singing identity. Understanding each student’s abilities and challenges allows me to guide them effectively and patiently.
I structure each lesson so time is used efficiently, including warm-ups, technical exercises, and song practice. In addition to singing, I also support students with rhythm training and basic music knowledge.
