About Lin
With over 6 years of teaching experience, I am an experienced Piano tutor for School students, College learners, and working professionals. I enjoy helping students discover the joy of music and build confidence in playing piano.
My teaching approach is student-focused and flexible. I adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles, pace, and goals. I emphasise finger technique, rhythm, coordination, and musical expression. I encourage regular practice and guide students through challenges patiently.
I teach piano fundamentals, classical techniques, popular piano styles, chord progressions, scales, and improvisation. I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, and performance preparation.
A key strength of my teaching is my clear communication and motivation. I provide feedback and encouragement to help students develop as independent and confident piano players.

Accountability helps students maintain consistent practice, set goals, and monitor progress, promoting steady growth and confidence. Integrity guides my teaching as I provide honest feedback, celebrate successes sincerely, and support students through challenges with patience and encouragement.
Lessons are personalised to each student’s pace, skill level, and musical interests. Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and performance preparation to help students become confident and well-rounded musicians.
