About Camille

i started giving classes in English and Spanish five years ago.
I started to help my friends when I was in prep school, giving them preparation for oral examinations in English and Spanish.
Then, in Mexico, I have also given conversation, grammar and vocabulary classes to students who do not speak Spanish well.
The results were surprising in both cases: by giving them the freedom to express themselves in a language that impressed them, students ended up enjoying using the language in real and professional contexts and made very quick progress. In prep class, my students got more than 15/20 in oral examinations to enter top business schools; in Mexico, all obtained an average above 80/100.

About the lesson

I have both the French and Argentinian nationalities. While i was growing up, I studied in an international school for 10 years, in the Spanish section. I then received in 2010 both a Spanish and a French baccalaureate degree. While studying at this school, I was able to learn English and - thanks to conversation with my tutors, to traveling and reading - reached a C2 level in that language.
After highschool, I studied two years at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève in Versailles (a very competitive French program to prepare for pre-business schools exams), and then joined the Edhec Business School in 2012 with excellent results in languages written and spoken (grades between 17/20 and 19/20 in both languages). Now, I just returned from a seven-month internship in Mexico, in which I used English and Spanish every day with partners and customers.

I believe that grammar and vocabulary are the basis for the practice of any language: I therefore spend the first half of the course to those two, according to the student's needs.
The second part of the course is often a structured and planned conversations (about what the student might have read in the language, films and series, news, economics, history). this allows the student to enjoy using the language and learn to manage it in a context that may be useful.
When my students also study the language at school (college, high school, prep, college or other), I work in parallel with what he is studying in class, in order to deepen the content.

Furthermore, I'm usually extremely available if the student happens to have an emergency (rereading of duty for example, or preparation of a written or oral examination).
