About Chase
I'm a 3rd year graduate student working on my PhD in organic/inorganic chemistries! In 2019, I received my bachelor's degree with a major in chemistry and a minor in math. My original intention was to teach high school, but my devotion quickly changed during my undergraduate studies. I have a thirst for teaching chemistry at the higher levels and my focus is now to become a professor.
At my current university, I've taught countless organic chemistry labs and lectures as part of my GTA job. On the side, I tutor 2-4 students a semester varying between organic chemistry and general chemistry.

Hey guys!
I approach every student differently because not every student learns the same way! Typically, I'll ask for some background on the material you are covering in class like PowerPoints or notes. I've been studying chemistry for a long time but it can be easy to forget things! During the actual session, I like to gauge what topics are the hardest and do what I can to re-explain the stuff that doesn't make sense. Afterwards, we'll work on problems to cement what you just learned. We can go as slow or as fast as you'd like.
There are no such things as dumb questions and I want to make sure we learn from the core, and not just accept things without knowing why.
