About Sandeepa
Hi! I’m Ms. Sandeepa — I recently completed my Master of Engineering at the University of Waikato, and I currently work as a Learning Assistant in Math and Science at a secondary school in Hamilton. I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand math, especially when it seems confusing or overwhelming at first. Teaching gives me the chance to make a real difference in how students feel about learning — turning frustration into confidence. I believe that with the right support, anyone can succeed in math. That’s why I’m passionate about tutoring: I love seeing students gain clarity, feel more confident, and start enjoying the subject.

I offer personalised maths tutoring for students from Year 7 to Year 13, covering foundational skills through to advanced topics. This includes focused support for the NCEA Numeracy exam (usually completed by Year 10) as well as all major NCEA Achievement Standards in Mathematics at Levels 1, 2, and 3 (Years 11, 12, and 13).
Whether you need help strengthening your maths foundation, preparing for NCEA assessments, tackling calculus, algebra, statistics, or improving problem-solving skills, I tailor each lesson to your learning style and goals.
My lessons provide a supportive, patient environment where you can ask questions freely and build confidence at your own pace. Together, we’ll work through challenges and celebrate your progress — making maths understandable and less stressful.
