About Gintare

I gained my certificate in Piano Performance back in my home country Lithuania and I have been tutoring people since my study years (so quite a few by now..) :) Until the lockdown, I taught keyboards with Soundsteps Music School where besides having fun while learning we also prepared pupils for Trinity graded exams. I also prepped for ABRSM privately and most of my students were awarded distinctions. Besides the exams, many learning for the fun of it had exactly that - FUN playing their favourite tunes, improvising, and creating their own piano music.

About the lesson

It is impossible to say what will happen and what to expect as every lesson is developed around YOU and only YOU! Your Goals, Needs, Strengths, Weaknesses, Favourite Songs, Creative Expression, Dreams... I have a wide range of sources and pick various methods and 'bits and pieces' required to achieve your goals and have a rewarding experience.

Perfect! I would like to say huge thanks to Gintare, she has been tutoring my 4 year old daughter for piano lessons for sometime now. That little one, whom I thought would not concentrate, or would get stressed for weekly lessons, ended up being a keen student under Gintare's sweet authority. Gintare has a way with little ones, engages my daughter in a way I never imagined. In that short 30 mins my daughter learns through playing. Then once the lesson is over if not every day, she spends time practicing 5 to 10 mins everyday and she progresses every week visibly. I am blacksheep of the family with no musical talent but coming from a family of professional musicians, I am so proud to see her so motivated. Again I would like to thank Gintare for being such a great teacher.
