About Janelle
I hold an MMus in Music Therapy from the University of Pretoria and have extensive experience working with people of all ages and abilities. Alongside my therapeutic work, I teach voice, piano, and songwriting, facilitate creative workshops, and regularly perform at live events.
As both a vocalist and educator, I am passionate about helping singers develop healthy vocal technique, confidence, musical expression, and their own unique sound. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced performer, my goal is to help you grow as a singer in a supportive and encouraging environment.

My vocal coaching approach is personalised and student-centred. Whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for auditions, looking to improve your technique, or simply wanting to sing with more confidence, lessons are tailored to your individual goals and interests.
We may work on breath support, vocal technique, pitch accuracy, vocal health, performance skills, musicality, and song interpretation. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can develop healthy singing habits while discovering their unique voice and musical expression.
Lessons are available in English and are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults of all experience levels.
