About Stephy
I am an experienced and dedicated online Java and Math tutor. I have been tutoring for more than 1 year and have developed a system of teaching that enables students to maximize their learning potential. I have a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as several certifications in both Java and Math. I am also knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, SQL and other programming languages. I enjoy teaching and helping my students understand concepts.
In addition to teaching, I also have several years of experience in software development and web development. I am passionate about technology and strive to keep up with the latest trends and advancements in the field.

My approach as a tutor is to break down complex concepts into manageable pieces. I typically start each lesson with a review of the topic, then introduce the material in a way that is engaging and easy to comprehend. I like to use visuals, simulations, and real-world examples to contextualize the material and make it more relatable.
My lesson plans are tailored to the student’s individual needs and goals. Depending on their level and experience, I will adjust the lesson plan accordingly. I like to start with a review of the basics and then build on that knowledge gradually. I also give students practice problems to reinforce the concepts they learn.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my passion for the material and my ability to explain complex topics in a simple and straightforward way. I am patient, friendly, and dedicated to helping my students reach their goals.
My lessons are tailored to students of all levels. I work with students taking online classes, high school and college classes, and those preparing for standardized tests. I also work with students who are just looking to brush up on their skills.
