About Gerardo
Hi! I have a degree in Music from the PUCV, I have specialized in the saxophone with a focus on the popular area: Jazz, Funk, Rock, Pop, Fusion, etc. I have participated in different musical groups within the Valparaíso region and the Metropolitan region; being part of various musical instances, such as: festivals, intimate concerts, recreational and educational concerts. Parallel to this, I remain an active teacher at the Limache Conservatory (Limache) and at the Impulsarte Academy (Villa Alemana).

My classes are personalized based on your objectives, we set a previous meeting (at no cost) days before the first class, we talk and we put together a study plan with short, medium and long term objectives. The material I use follows the line of the objective to be achieved; I draw in part on written methods (Bob Mintzer, Lennie Niehaus, Klosé, ChadLB), companion videos (both my own and others freely available) and original material around your needs to move forward. Classes last 50 minutes but I usually extend until the hour, to be able to clarify all doubts and close the class by commenting on what was seen, what is left of homework and what will come. Between classes, we work an active communication through WhatsApp, with audios sent by you and responded with a feedback from me.
