About Chelsea

Hi!
I’m a qualified primary school teacher with a PGCE and a real passion for children’s learning. I believe every child can succeed when they feel supported, valued, and encouraged—and that’s exactly what I aim to provide in every lesson.
My teaching style is calm, patient, and engaging. I adapt my lessons to suit each child’s learning style, using a mix of fun, interactive activities and clear, structured guidance. Whether it’s building confidence in maths, improving writing skills, or preparing for SATs, my goal is always to make learning enjoyable and effective. I’ve worked with children across Key Stage 1 and 2 and love seeing their confidence grow as they start to believe in themselves.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading and travelling—but nothing inspires me more than helping young learners thrive. You can count on me for professional, friendly support that puts your child’s learning and wellbeing first!

About the lesson

As a PGCE-qualified primary teacher, my approach is warm, structured, and fully tailored to each child’s needs. I focus on building confidence, understanding, and enjoyment in learning. I use a mix of interactive methods—visual aids, games, real-life examples, and scaffolded questioning—to make learning engaging and effective. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I can adjust based on age and focus—some younger learners benefit from 45-minute sessions. I have experience teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including SATs preparation and supporting children with varying abilities and learning styles. My PGCE training and classroom experience ensure I use strategies backed by the latest educational research. My lessons are ideal for primary-aged children (ages 5–11) who need help with English, Maths, Science, or general curriculum support—whether they’re catching up, preparing for exams, or looking to stay ahead.
