Current study: PGDE Primary Teaching

I am mum of two. I have a 9 year old and a 16 year old. Teaching has been a passion of mine for many many years... I've lost count now. All of my previous jobs except maybe two have been in the education/childcare industry.

I want to teach because I enjoy it! I love working together with my students to have a fantastic lesson.

I want my students to be heard, understood and for them to thrive in their learning.

About the lesson

I like to ensure my lessons are fun, engaging and active.
I will do my very best to meet each students learning abilities.
I like to listen to my students, hear their thoughts and ideas and take on board their feedback to make my lessons better.
Lessons will last around 1 hour depending on what is being covered and what is needed for each lesson (will be discussed) .
Currently I am studying my PGDE in Primary teaching. Qualify in May and super excited to get into my own classroom.
I have taught for many years in different areas. I have helped out in primary schools and taught during my placement, teaching children at all stages and additional support needs. I taught dance for many years after three years in college studying the art!
