About Nada

I am a graduate of pharmaceutical chemistry, this course involves the study of drugs, drug discovery and its development. The main science of the course that I have studied is chemistry. Chemistry is an interesting subject as it connects other sciences together such as biology, physics and geology. Chemistry teaches useful skills that can be used in everyday life. These skills help you learn how to be objective and how to reason and solve problems. I was a PAL leader at the university where I helped first and second year students with their course material and ensuring they are comfortable within their course. PAL is group learning where students reflect on course content and share knowledge and skills with each other through activities run by a PAL leader. This creates both an academic support network with new students and a learning community the course. I was also part of the Chemistry society in the University, this helped me with building relationships with other chemistry students.

About the lesson

The structure of my lessons will be based on what the students feels they are weak in and where they need help in building the confidence when answering that certain question in the exam. When taking exams, I encourage revision to be based on practicing exam papers and answering all questions related to that topic after watching videos. I base my teaching on asking many questions and allowing the student to actively participate in the lesson.
