About Michelle
Born and raised in Germany, I have obtained a BA in History and Political Philosophy (honours) at an America Liberal Arts College in Paris, before pursuing a MPhil in Modern British History (distinction) at the University of Cambridge and a MSc in Human Rights (merit) at LSE. I have two years work experience and am currently obtaining my PhD in History in London. Over the years I have tutored students in History, German, Politics, Sociology, Feminism and Philosophy.

I believe that it is essential to understand the greater picture and concept of the topic learned rather than memorising dates and facts. The 'why' is therefore a key stone in learning and understanding the 'how' and the 'what'. Subsequently, my tutor style is based on the aforementioned approach thereby ensuring that the students can take away more than simply learning for the upcoming exam or paper.
I furthermore want to ensure that the student feels comfortable and welcome enough to ask any questions.
