About Atiqa

Hello! I'm a PhD researcher in Chemistry at La Trobe University, Australia, with a Master's degree in Chemical Sciences. My academic journey has taken me from learning the fundamentals of chemistry to conducting advanced research in computational and inorganic chemistry.

I decided to become a tutor because I know firsthand how challenging chemistry can seem when concepts are not explained clearly. Throughout my studies, I discovered that the best teachers were not the ones who simply knew the subject well—they were the ones who could make difficult ideas easy to understand. That is exactly the approach I bring to my lessons.

I genuinely enjoy helping students overcome academic challenges and build confidence in their abilities. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student progress from feeling confused by a topic to solving problems independently and achieving results they once thought were out of reach.

As both a researcher and a tutor, I combine strong subject knowledge with patience, clear communication, and a supportive teaching style. My goal is not only to help you improve your grades but also to help you develop a deeper understanding of chemistry that will benefit you long after the lesson ends.

Why choose my lessons?

Chemistry can often feel overwhelming, with complex theories, equations, and concepts that seem difficult to connect. My goal as a tutor is not simply to help you memorize information, but to help you truly understand it. Once you understand the logic behind chemistry, learning becomes much easier, more enjoyable, and far more effective.

As a PhD researcher in Chemistry at La Trobe University, I work with chemistry every day at an advanced level. My research involves solving real scientific problems using computational chemistry and quantum chemical methods. This experience allows me to explain not only what concepts mean, but also why they matter and how they are applied in real-world science and research.

Every student learns differently. That is why I tailor each lesson to your individual needs, whether you are preparing for exams, catching up on difficult topics, aiming for top grades, or building confidence in the subject. I begin by identifying the areas where you need the most support and then create a clear learning plan that matches your goals.

My lessons focus on:
