About Reza
I am a PhD researcher in Computer Science with over 10 years of professional software development experience and a strong background in C and C++.
I also have extensive academic teaching experience. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant at university and served as a Learning Center teacher, where I supported students with their coursework, problem-solving, and understanding of technical concepts.
My professional background includes working with C/C++, Java, Python, databases, computer networks, distributed systems, and software engineering. This combination of industry and academic experience allows me to teach not only how programming concepts work, but also how they are applied in real-world software development.
I especially enjoy making difficult topics such as pointers, memory management, data structures, algorithms, and debugging easier to understand through clear explanations and practical examples.
Whether you are completely new to C, struggling with a university course, preparing for an exam or technical interview, or simply want to become a stronger programmer, I will adapt the lessons to your level, learning style, and goals.
My goal is for you to leave each lesson understanding the concepts—not simply memorizing code.

My teaching approach is based on one simple principle: you learn programming by understanding it and actually writing code—not by memorizing syntax.
Every student has a different background, so I begin by identifying your current level, goals, and the areas you find difficult. I then create lessons around your specific needs rather than following the same fixed curriculum for everyone.
A typical lesson includes:
1. **Quick review:** We briefly review the previous topic and address any questions or difficulties.
2. **Clear explanation:** I introduce the new concept step by step, using simple examples before moving to more complex problems.
3. **Live coding:** We write and analyze C code together so you can see exactly how each concept works in practice.
4. **Student practice:** You solve a problem yourself while I guide you when necessary. I focus on helping you develop the thought process needed to solve programming problems independently.
5. **Debugging and code review:** We examine mistakes together, learn how to identify bugs, and discuss how the code can be improved.
6. **Summary and next steps:** We finish by reviewing the key concepts and identifying what you should practice before the next lesson.
I can help with C fundamentals, functions, arrays, strings, pointers, memory management, structures, file handling, data structures, algorithms, debugging, university course material, exam preparation, and technical interview preparation.
What makes my lessons different is the combination of academic teaching and real-world software development experience. As a Computer Science PhD researcher, former university Teaching Assistant and Learning Center coordinator, and software developer with more than 10 years of professional experience, I can explain both the theory behind a concept and how programmers actually use it in practice.
I am patient with beginners and I never expect a student to understand something simply because it has been explained once. If one explanation does not work, I approach the concept from a different angle until it becomes clear.
My goal is not to write your code for you. My goal is to help you reach the point where you can confidently understand a problem, design a solution, write the code, and debug it yourself.
