About Nicholas
I am a materials scientist and biomedical engineer with over 5 years of experience teaching and performing laboratory research. I have undergraduate degrees in bioengineering and chemistry and a PhD in physics. I am an active researcher in the materials science field, specializing in polymers, electrochemistry, 3D printing, and biomedical engineering. I love to teach and help students learn how to apply what they are learning.

When teaching concepts in the sciences, I try to do so via analogy. For example, fluid flow through tubes can be described by electrical circuit models and vice versa. I will always try to incorporate real-life applications of the topics I'm teaching. More often than not, these examples will be related to biomedical engineering and manufacturing.
