About Garima V

I am a PhD in Mathematics from University of Delhi with more than 10 years of teaching experience in reputed colleges of Delhi University. I am a Mathematician and passionate about helping people learn mathematics and see its beauty. My dream is to make Mathematics fun and engaging and eliminate the fear of mathematics from children and their parents. I have taught children of all age groups from kindergarten till graduate level. I have also authored and co-authored various books on Mathematics for different age groups.

About the lesson

I teach mathematics as a language and help students see and experience math in their daily lives. This helps them understand the subject deeply and clearly. I believe in facilitating instead of teaching and help students find answers themselves which empowers them and makes them fall in love with Mathematics. The 1 hr class usually consists of the concept introduction, everyday situations and how the concept is applicable there and finally getting onto solving them. I make the student comfortable so that he/she expresses themselves clearly and make the subject very relatable with real life. I have taught not just children from kindergarten till the graduate level but also the parents so that they become comfortable with math too. I am homeschooling my 2 children aged 6 and 10 and developed the full Math curriculum for them which makes learning fun, interesting and very relatable to real life.
