About Rituparna

I am a PhD-trained physicist with several years of experience teaching, mentoring, and working with students at the university level. I am passionate about making complex concepts clear and approachable. My goal is to help students build confidence, strong foundations, and real problem-solving skills that last beyond exams.

About the lesson

My goal is to help you truly understand physics and math, not just memorize formulas. I focus on building clear intuition so you feel confident solving problems on your own.

Each lesson starts by identifying where you’re getting stuck. I then explain concepts step-by-step using simple language, visuals, and guided problem-solving. We work through examples together, and you’ll practice while I provide support and feedback.

A typical lesson includes:

- Reviewing key concepts

- Breaking down problems logically

- Solving examples together

- Practicing similar problems

- Planning what to focus on next

My focus is on combining deep subject knowledge with a calm, supportive teaching style. I’ve taught and mentored university-level students and know how to make complex topics feel manageable.

I tutor:

- High school physics and math

- AP Physics and AP Calculus

- College physics and engineering

- Pre-med and life science students

Whether you’re struggling, preparing for exams, or aiming to improve your understanding, I’ll help you learn in a clear, structured, and confidence-building way.
