About Rezwan
I am a full-time professional engineer working in the Victorian power sector. I hold a PhD in Engineering from the University of Melbourne and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from RMIT University. I am also a registered engineer, with a strong academic and professional background in Math, Science and Engineering.
Although engineering is my profession, I genuinely enjoy teaching and explaining things in a simple way. As a father of three school-aged children in Years 7, 5 and 1, I regularly help my children with their studies and enjoy seeing their confidence grow when a difficult concept starts to make sense.
This experience encouraged me to use some of my spare time to help other young students with Math and Science. I aim to be patient, approachable and supportive, and to make learning enjoyable and comfortable rather than stressful.

I am a full-time professional engineer, and outside my engineering work I enjoy helping young students understand Maths and Science in a simple and friendly way. I believe learning becomes much easier when students feel comfortable asking questions and are not afraid of getting things wrong.
My lessons are relaxed and interactive. I explain concepts step by step, use simple examples, and work through problems together with the student. We can focus on schoolwork, homework, upcoming tests, or any topics the student is finding difficult.
I am also a father of three school-aged children, currently in Years 7, 5 and 1, and I genuinely enjoy helping them with their studies. Teaching my own children has taught me how important it is to explain the same idea in different ways depending on a child's age and understanding. This is what encouraged me to offer some of my spare time to help other students as well.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes and are aimed at students in Years 4–8. My goal is to help students build strong foundations and become more confident and comfortable with Maths and Science.
