About Adam
I have a 1st Class (Hons) BSc and a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from University College London. I was the first in my family to go to university; obtained several scholarships and many prestigious academic awards. I have been tutoring for the last 15 years, from the 11+ up to postgraduate level in STEM subjects.

The approach to my lessons is to guide the student into understanding the subject, and not simply memorising facts. This is key to developing the student's own internal logic and intelligence to approaching questions and problems. I have found this approach to be enormously successful for a student's learning and outcomes in exams.
