PhD in Sociology from University of Toronto; Sociology, Writing, and Academic Tutor of 20+ years; Classroom Teacher 15 years+

I feel so fortunate to have been able to connect with Sol. Sol is very dedicted, patient and easy to communicate with. They have an incredible breadth of knowledge as a prof and tutor. I really appreciate Sol’s ability to adapt to my learning style and get creative in finding different ways to help me understand the material and improve my writing. Sol has an extensive understanding of how to help with academic writing at the university level (and their extensive understanding of psychology and sociology courses is a huge benefit!). I highly recommend Sol to anyone needing a tutor. They are the best!

Sol is an incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive tutor. She helped me become a much stronger and more confident writer by showing me how to organize my ideas, develop clear arguments, and improve my essays step by step. She explains difficult concepts in a way that is easy to understand and always makes you feel comfortable asking questions. I would highly recommend Sol to any student who wants to improve their writing and academic skills.

I have had many tutors throughout my life because of my learning disability. Sol is by far the most friendly, encouraging and approachable tutor with so much knowledge to share. I can't recommend her enough!!

Finishing my degree in social sciences, Sol tutored me through essay writing. I learned so much from Sol about theses, essay structure and organization, and how to integrate source materials effectively.

Sol tutored me in university preparation and study skills for my writing-intensive courses at the University of Toronto. She was excellent at helping me organize my time, tasks, and homework, and helping me practice the skills that raised my grades to the level I needed them at! Can't recommend Sol enough
