About Bea
Hi! I'm a PhD student at UCL, doing a project in engineering solutions to antimicrobial resistance. Before this, I achieved a 1st class honours Masters degree in Chemistry. But that journey started at my A-Levels and GCSEs.
The exam hall is where all journeys in academia start, and I'm here to help you smash those exams, so you can go on to do what you are passionate about.
Whether you're hoping to get a head start this summer, or are grinding away for mock exams, my aim is to tailor my teaching to hit your goals and find a studying method that works for you.

Acing A-levels and GCSEs comes down to exam technique. Understanding what the exam wants from you and being able to interpret the question is just as important as understanding chemical concepts. Going through past paper questions together will help you extract as many marks as possible.
I achieved a 92% in my Chemistry A-level following this principle, and hope to help you do the best you can do too!
I have previous experience as a GCSE maths tutor, and have done outreach projects during my degree, teaching school students about chemistry in the world around them.
Lessons can be between 0.5-2 hours and online. I am most comfortable teaching chemistry at A-Level and GCSE. I took Biology and Psychology at A-Level too, so am happy teaching exam technique in those subjects too.
