About Grace
I am a clinical psychologist, psychology educator, researcher, and mental health practitioner with a Master of Clinical Psychology, currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Africa International University and serving as a Part-Time Lecturer at Kisii University. I am passionate about teaching because I enjoy helping students transform complex psychological concepts into knowledge they can understand, apply, and confidently communicate. My professional experience in clinical psychology, research, mental health, and community-based practice allows me to connect academic theory with real-world situations, making learning practical and meaningful. I want to teach because I believe good psychology education can develop not only academically successful students, but also thoughtful, ethical, and competent future psychologists and mental health professionals

My approach to private tutoring is student-centered, interactive, and tailored to each learner’s needs, academic level, and learning goals. I begin by identifying areas where the student needs support and then structure each lesson around clear objectives, guided practice, questions, and constructive feedback. Whether preparing for examinations, understanding difficult psychological theories, working through research methods, or strengthening academic writing and critical thinking, I aim to create a supportive and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, build confidence, and progressively become independent learners.
