About Sorin
I am someone who genuinely enjoys breaking down complex ideas into simple, logical steps. As a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering, I work daily with advanced mathematics, modeling, and analytical problem solving. Over time, I realized that what many students struggle with is not intelligence, but clarity and structure.
I have several years of experience supporting university students through tutorials and office hours, helping them move from confusion to confidence. I understand exam pressure, tight deadlines, and the frustration of not knowing where to start on a problem.
My goal is to create a calm, focused learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing real understanding. I believe strong fundamentals and strategic thinking are the keys to long-term academic success.

I am a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a strong background in advanced mathematics, systems theory, and programming. I specialize in helping students build deep understanding in calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, signals and systems, and control theory.
My approach focuses on clarity, intuition, and problem-solving strategy rather than memorization. I adapt each session to the student’s level and goals, whether that means strengthening fundamentals, preparing for exams, or mastering challenging university-level material.
I emphasize structured thinking, confidence building, and exam performance. Students learn not only how to solve problems, but how to think independently and approach new questions strategically.
