About Emma
Based in Brussels, I am currently doing a PhD in law for Queen Mary University (London). Having acquired a good level of academic English, I want to offer English (but also French) lessons to teenagers and adults wishing to improve their knowledge of the language. Tutoring is a professional activity that I find fascinating and that I have already put into practice in Belgium but also in Japan during my exchange year. From this experience, I learned to adapt to the needs of the pupil / student and to cultivate an uninhibited, fun but also rigorous teaching. It is therefore with great enthusiasm that I will accompany you in your learning!

My approach is "integrated", that is to say that all the skills (written and oral comprehension and expression) would be trained within the context of practical exercises (reading of an article or discussion on a given topic): each grammar and vocabulary question is therefore addressed in a concrete context to facilitate learning. If the student expresses the need to concentrate on a particular grammar question, the possibility of theoretical, more targeted session remains of course open.
