About Yasmine

I'm Yasmine and I hold a bachelor's in Computer science, minoring mathematics in the most STEM school of Iran and now, I'm a PhD student at University of Warwick :) I have also a strong background in mathematics and geometry and happy to help younger ones to build their mathematical mind

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is focused on building a strong foundation, boosting confidence, and making learning engaging. I break down even the most complex maths and statistics concepts into simple, understandable steps, using real-life examples and visual aids to make them stick. I tailor each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style combining step-by-step problem solving, interactive exercises, and targeted practice for upcoming exams. For geometry, I incorporate diagrams and visual reasoning strategies so students truly see the logic behind each problem. Regular mini-quizzes and revision summaries keep progress on track, while past exam papers and time-management drills prepare students for real test conditions. A standard lesson runs for 60 minutes, with the flexibility to extend to 90 minutes for in-depth topics or intensive exam prep. Shorter 30-minute booster sessions are also available for quick revision or homework help. I hold a strong academic background in mathematics and statistical methods, with extensive experience tutoring students from elementary to high school. Over the years, I’ve successfully prepared many learners for standardised tests, final exams, and competitive entrance assessments. My style combines academic rigour with patience and encouragement—helping students turn uncertainty into mastery.
