About Charlotte

I'm starting a PhD looking at Shakespearean grammar in October, and in the meantime I'd love to help you with developing your knowledge of English language and linguistics! I completed my MA with distinction at Lancaster University, which is one of the best places in the UK for my subject. I read a lot around the subject in various areas, with a specific interest in language change and grammar, whether in English or otherwise. I was also very successful in my GCSEs and A levels in English, and am able to help with essay structure at A level, undergraduate and master's level.

About the lesson

Lessons are online and will last around an hour. Let me know in advance any areas you'd like to cover through a course of lessons. We can cover anything from grammar to child language acquisition, phonology to sociolinguistic theory. I'm also suited to help with revision for GCSE English Language.
