About Keerthika

Alongside private tutoring, I have experience supporting children in educational settings and through international volunteering. This includes teaching English in rural communities and assisting with learning activities in varied classroom environments, which has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, adapt my teaching style, and support learners with different abilities and backgrounds.

About the lesson

I have experience providing one-to-one and small-group tuition in English and Maths for primary-aged learners, with a strong focus on 11+ English preparation. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, ensuring that lessons are adapted to target specific gaps in knowledge while also building confidence and exam readiness. I place particular emphasis on developing strong comprehension and creative writing skills, alongside clear exam technique and time management strategies, which are essential for entrance exams.

Each lesson typically lasts 1 hour 15 minutes, allowing enough time to review prior learning, introduce new concepts, complete guided practice, and provide detailed feedback. I also incorporate regular homework assessment to track progress and ensure that students are consistently improving between sessions.

Perfect! Keerthika came to my home to tutor my children, and I was so impressed by how well-prepared she was and by the amount of time and effort she put into preparing each session.
Both of my children really benefited from her tutoring, and it was wonderful to see them engaged and learning. I’m so grateful for the time and care she invested in them, and I can’t wait to see where their learning journey takes them!

Highly recommend Keerthika to anyone looking for a dedicated and thoughtful tutor.
