About Daniel
I am a 20 year old student at Durham University studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Throughout my time in education I have always achieved top grades: I am on track for a 1st class degree, achieved 3A*s at A-Level, and achieved 9 grade 9s at GCSE.
I find a great deal of satisfaction in teaching, and I have always looked for opportunities to do so, be it through mentoring schemes at school, or even just helping my friends with tough seminar worksheets at university. As a student, you will always be encouraged to be ambitious with your answers, knowing that it is a safe space where mistakes are encouraged.

My tutoring style is very rigorous. I have taught a range of abilities and targets from GCSE grade 5 to A-Level grade A*, and what has worked for all my students has been a willingness to spend long periods of time ensuring that the theoretical foundations are strong before attempting more applied and advanced questions. My students are always encouraged to make mistakes and explain clearly their thought process, and I always try to make the lessons as enjoyable as possible.
My lessons typically last between 1 and 2 hours (anything over 1hr 30 will include a 5-10 minute break to allow the student to stay focused), and I teach from KS3 (year 7) up to A-Level.
