I am Shani a 21 year old graduate from the University of Warwick who is more than excited to share the knowledge and studying methods I have learned over time with you! My aim will be to help you understand what studying methods may work best for you and to be the friendly face you can come to for help in understanding any difficult topics you may be struggling with.

My typical teaching strategy is to first understand exactly what the child is struggling with, what is their typical study method and how can that study method be improved by making use of their own strengths. Many students struggle to just sit at a desk and study for hours on end so other ways of engaging them may be useful for some.
My lessons will normally be an hour long, I find that longer than that is typically counterproductive as the child's productivity will start to go down naturally after that time.
I have just finished my Bachelors degree in Philosophy with Psychology and before that I also studied for A-levels in Philosophy and Psychology and was tutored myself, however I have not yet officially tutored anyone. I do frequently help my university friends who struggle with certain modules, I find myself to be very good at researching a topic from all angles and consequentially being able to respond to any uncertainties people may have about a topic.
