About Lhéaux
Salut! Mon nom c'est Lhéaux (My name's Lhéaux) and I've been a dancer for 20 years, graduated Physical Theatre from LSU and worked for a year in arts-integration with the Lafayette Public School System. I'm a cadien, queer artist and nature lover as well as a puppeteer, aerialist and thespian.
If you're interested in living a creative life, joyous and free, then you've definitely found the tutor to collaborate with! I believe in growing steadily, with concrete action steps to further progress one day at a time & accepting ourselves exactly where we are at any point in our journey.

Student-based approach-- when you bring your goals (or when we explore what they are together), I help pave your path to further creative expression both in the dance world and out!
TYPICAL LESSON
1) artistic check-in: milestones, action step accountability, what's happening in your artist world.
2) warmup-- nurturing healthy habits
3) area-of-focus training (ex: choreographing a phrase, across-the-floor technique practice, mock audition, etc.)
4) reflection: what did we notice, what went well, what can be worked?
5) affirmations and an action step for next week
I have worked through The Artist's Way (Julia Cameron) and tutor both as a means of creative expression and service to artists interested in nurturing their artistic nature. I'm a cultural preservationist, cadien, and queer artist promoting a safe space for every every body!
Lessons are for ages PK-Adult. We work together to reach your goals one day at a time :0)
