About Maths

I am a dedicated and experienced Mathematics and Physics tutor with over seven years of teaching experience in international and IB schools. I hold a Master’s degree in Physics and am currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Data Science, which allows me to combine strong subject knowledge with analytical and structured teaching methods.

I am known for my clear explanations, patient approach, and well-organised lessons that help students build confidence and achieve consistent progress. I maintain high professional standards, including punctuality, reliability, and clear communication with both students and parents. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated, comfortable asking questions, and confident in their abilities.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centred and concept-focused, with an emphasis on building strong foundations and confidence in Mathematics and Physics. I begin by assessing the student’s current understanding and learning style, then tailor each lesson to meet their individual needs. I use clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, real-world examples, and guided practice to ensure concepts are fully understood. Regular questioning, practice tasks, and review of mistakes help reinforce learning and track progress over time.

Lessons are typically one hour long, which allows enough time for explanation, practice, and feedback. However, depending on the student’s goals and requirements, sessions can be extended to two hours.

I hold a Master’s degree in Physics and am currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Data Science. I have over seven years of experience teaching Mathematics and Science in international schools, including IB schools, as well as providing individual tutoring.

My lessons are suitable for school-level students aged 11 to 16, including GCSE (Years 9 and 10) and IB MYP students. I aim to create a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and steadily improve their academic performance.
