About Joan
Hi there! I'm Joan, and I’m a second-year university student majoring in physics and astronomy. Science and math have always been my passion, and I love sharing that enthusiasm with others. Over the past few years, I’ve gained experience tutoring university-level physics, helping students break through challenges and build their confidence in tough subjects.
What sets me apart is my approachable and patient teaching style. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to match your unique pace and needs. My Teaching Style
I like to make complex topics feel simple and approachable. Whether it’s math, physics, chemistry, or biology I break concepts into smaller, digestible pieces and explain them in everyday language, often with examples you can relate to in real life. I’m patient and encouraging, and I’ll stick with you until everything clicks.

Start with Your Goals: We would begin by discussing what you’re struggling with.
Make it Click: I’ll explain concepts step by step and work through examples with you. Together, we’ll identify any gaps in understanding and tackle them.
You Take the Lead: After walking through problems, it’s your turn to try, with me guiding you when needed.
Wrap-Up and Plan Ahead: We’ll review key takeaways and set clear goals for the next session, so you always feel like you’re moving forward.
