About William
When I was doing my GCSEs we had a former student who was taking a gap year come in to assist teachers in my science and maths classes. I thought he was excellent because he offered a fresh perspective on the problems and new ways of solving them that were more tailored to me and my way of thinking, which allowed me to answer questions more efficiently to give me more time to spend on the trickier questions in the paper. I wish to offer the same experience to my students and help them the way that this person helped me to give them the best chance of doing well in their final exams and setting themselves up for the future.

I endeavour to teach students new ways of approaching problems by framing them differently and demonstrating alternate methods to solve them. This will mostly be accomplished by going through past papers and questions together to identify problem areas and then focusing on those points specifically. Lessons typically last an hour. I have GCSEs and A Levels in Maths and Further Maths, and am currently a BSc student in Physics at the University of Liverpool, expecting to graduate in 2027. These lessons are targeted to 15-16 year olds currently working at a grade 2-5 in GCSE maths who are looking to focus on some key areas that they struggle with.
