About Tessa
My fascination with physics began with a curiosity about the natural laws that govern the universe, from forces to energy interactions. I earned a B.Sc in Physics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Physics, providing both theoretical and practical expertise. Over the past 10 years, I have guided learners at all levels, helping them cultivate conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and scientific confidence.
I teach through structured explanations, visual demonstrations, guided experiments, and stepwise exercises. Many students initially find abstract equations or multi-step reasoning daunting, so I emphasize clarity, iterative learning, and hands-on examples. Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals, fostering both competence and confidence in physics.
Outside teaching, I stay actively engaged with research, scientific developments, and experimental projects to bring practical insights into lessons. Witnessing students transform from hesitation to mastery, developing analytical thinking and independence, is the most rewarding part of my work. I aim to inspire curiosity, resilience, and a deep understanding of the physical world in every student I teach.

Intermediate learners focus on applying Newtonian mechanics to real-world scenarios, interpreting energy transformations, analyzing circuits, and exploring wave interactions, enhancing both precision and reasoning skills. Advanced learners tackle multi-step derivations, experimental design, electromagnetism applications, quantum principles, and interdisciplinary problem-solving, fostering mastery and critical thinking. Lessons are tailored to individual levels and learning styles, with structured guidance, iterative exercises, and constructive feedback to ensure steady progress.
Beyond problem-solving, physics instruction cultivates analytical reasoning, scientific curiosity, and systematic thinking. Students develop the ability to approach challenges methodically, analyze data critically, and apply concepts creatively across disciplines. My goal is to nurture learners who are confident, inquisitive, and capable of connecting physics principles to academic, professional, and real-world contexts, equipping them with skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
