About Avery
My interest in physics developed from curiosity about how natural laws govern motion, energy, and the universe. This curiosity led me to earn a B.Sc in Physics and Astronomy, where I developed strong analytical and conceptual foundations. Over 8 years of teaching, I have supported students in overcoming difficulty and developing confidence in topics they once found intimidating. I focus on patience, clarity, and adaptability in my teaching. Physics can feel overwhelming when concepts are rushed or disconnected. I take time to explain ideas step by step, using visual tools, real-world examples, and simple analogies to make abstract ideas understandable. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically without fear of making mistakes. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with physics through reading scientific publications, exploring space science developments, and revisiting foundational theories. Teaching physics is rewarding because I see students gain confidence and analytical strength. Helping learners understand the logic of the physical world and trust their ability to think scientifically is a privilege I value deeply.

Physics becomes accessible when students understand how laws and principles describe the physical world around them. My lessons focus on mechanics, motion, forces, energy, waves, electricity, and basic modern physics, presented in a clear and logical progression. I emphasize conceptual understanding alongside problem-solving so students can confidently apply ideas rather than memorize formulas without context.
Lessons are customized to student ability and academic goals. Beginners explore motion, forces, and energy using diagrams and everyday examples. Intermediate learners work through circuits, wave behavior, momentum, and thermodynamic ideas with structured problem-solving practice. Advanced students focus on derivations, complex numerical problems, exam strategy, and conceptual explanation. Each session includes guided practice and careful breakdown of common mistakes.
Physics lessons also strengthen logical reasoning, observation, and confidence in analytical thinking. As students begin to understand the reasoning behind formulas, their fear of physics often disappears. My goal is to help learners feel empowered by physics, develop clarity in thinking, and approach scientific problems with confidence, curiosity, and calm problem-solving skills.
