About Isabelle
I have been fascinated by the laws of nature since childhood, which inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Physics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Physics. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students of all levels, transforming complex topics into accessible explanations while fostering curiosity, analytical thinking, and confidence in problem-solving. My teaching emphasises clarity, patience, and structured guidance to help learners succeed.
I focus on interactive and visual teaching methods, using diagrams, real-world examples, and stepwise problem-solving to help students grasp challenging ideas. I encourage independent thinking, questions, and reasoning, so learners build both understanding and confidence. Lessons are designed to balance practice, explanation, and critical engagement, giving students the tools they need for long-term mastery.
Outside teaching, I follow research developments in physics, experiment design, and scientific discoveries to enrich lessons with contemporary examples. Witnessing students evolve from tentative learners to confident thinkers who can analyse and solve problems is deeply rewarding. My goal is to cultivate curiosity, analytical skill, and lifelong engagement with the principles of physics in every student I teach.

Physics can feel challenging, but I make it approachable by connecting concepts to everyday experiences and observable phenomena. My lessons cover mechanics, energy systems, waves, thermodynamics, electricity, and magnetism, explained in simple, structured language. I emphasise visualisation, step-by-step reasoning, and interactive problem-solving exercises. This approach helps students understand concepts deeply and build confidence in applying principles to both theoretical problems and real-world scenarios.
Lessons are tailored to individual student levels. Beginners focus on fundamental laws, simple experiments, and basic problem-solving. Intermediate students explore equations, derivations, circuits, and experimental interpretation. Advanced learners work on complex problem-solving, analytical thinking, and preparation for exams or competitions. Each session blends explanation, practice, and reasoning guidance to help learners grow steadily in skill, confidence, and conceptual understanding.
Physics strengthens analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. Students learn to predict outcomes, analyse patterns, and approach challenges systematically. My goal is to help learners develop confidence and clarity in thinking, encouraging curiosity about the natural world and empowering them to tackle problems both inside and outside the classroom.
