I use real-world analogies (e.g., algorithms through supply chain logic) and the Socratic method to ensure the student truly understands the foundation before moving to practice. The "How" (Focused Practice): We break down complex problems into repeatable, algorithmic steps. I encourage students to verbalize their logic before writing to preempt common mistakes. The "What If" (Mastery & Extension): We intentionally explore problem variations and add complexity. For CS students, this means applying concepts using practical code examples in Python, C++, or Java.
