About Kirstin
A dedicated physics educator with six years of progressive tutoring experience, I bring both scholarly expertise and proven classroom instinct to every lesson I deliver. My work spans primary through to first-year university level, giving me a uniquely broad perspective on how students develop scientifically across different academic stages.
During six years of professional practice, I have refined a results-oriented teaching framework that prioritizes deep comprehension over passive learning. My students consistently achieve remarkable grade improvements, often surpassing their own expectations through structured guidance, targeted revision, and strategic examination preparation. Several students have advanced to prestigious science and engineering programs following our work together, an achievement I consider among my most meaningful professional accomplishments.

I believe every student has the potential to understand and enjoy physics; sometimes they just need someone to explain it the right way. My lessons create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace without pressure or judgment.
For younger primary students, I introduce scientific thinking through relatable, everyday examples that spark curiosity and lay strong foundations. Secondary students receive focused support across all major topics from motion and forces to electricity and waves with particular attention given to common stumbling blocks. First-year university students benefit from deeper conceptual exploration, mathematical application, and the critical thinking skills needed for higher-level study.
I take time before each lesson to understand what the student is finding difficult, tailoring the session accordingly rather than following a rigid script. Lessons are interactive, with frequent check-ins to ensure understanding is genuine before progressing further.
Alongside teaching content, I coach students on effective study habits, revision techniques, and smart exam strategies that maximize marks. Learning physics should feel like an adventure, not a burden.
