About Laszlo
I have recently finished my PhD in theoretical particle physics at McMaster University after completing an MSc in Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces at Imperial College London and a BSc in Physics at the University of Sussex. I have four years of experience teaching undergraduate physics classes at McMaster University, as well as one year of experience as an online educator at Numerade.

What I like to focus on in my classes is developing my students' physical intuition. I do this by creating and finding lots of examples in a given topic that align with their interests and then approach these problems from many different perspectives.
I ask a lot of probing questions to discover how much you know about a topic and then provide detailed, in-depth explanations that further your knowledge: either to the extent that is required in your courses; or even further if possible.

I had the privilege of working side-by-side with Laszlo for the entirety of my PhD, both in a research capacity, and occasionally in teaching roles. With this experience, I can unreservedly endorse his mastery of physics and related mathematics, and his ability to pass that knowledge along.
Through shared coursework, research projects, and journal clubs, I've witnessed and benefited from his ability to explain advanced concepts in ways accessible to the listener. As a teaching assistant, I have seen him patiently, successfully aid students on numerous occasions with topics ranging from introductory mechanics to upper-year quantum mechanics. You would do very well working with Laszlo.

The University of AucklandI have had the privilege to work with Laszlo as an educator and as a friend. We went to graduate school together and worked on many teaching based projects with one another.
Laszlo is able to explain difficult concepts in physics and mathematics in a clear and concise pedagogical manner. Anyone who is starting out in physics would be lucky to work with Laszlo as their educator as he is an expert in explaining these concepts from a fundamental standpoint. Making sure the students he is teaching understand everything they need to know before tackling any physics or math related problems.
I highly recommend Laszlo as a strong educator with the ability to teach any physics or math related subject with confidence and patience towards students!Laszlo was a senior student in my research group during my graduate studies. He has a great understanding of physics, and is good at breaking down complex topics into smaller, more easily understandable concepts.
I've known Laszlo since we were children. He has been interested in physics and all things science since his childhood. He gathered a lot of experience as a teacher during his university years. Besides that, this past year he has also earned his doctoral degree from McMaster University. I think his passion for physics and teaching is unstoppable. I highly recommend him with his educational background in physics along with his great personality that enables him to maximize the student satisfaction.
Laszlo is a capable and empathetic instructor. I've always known him to show patience and understanding towards his students. As a Ph.D. candidate, Laszlo immersed himself in the graduate student community, advocating for improved accessibility for students. His knowledge of physics is broad and advanced, but he maintains the ability to explain concepts in an accessible fashion. In short, I think he would be an excellent teacher.
Laszlo and I were graduate students together at McMaster University and Perimeter Institute for four years. I got to know Laszlo very well, and had the pleasure to observe his progress as a researcher (by travelling to Summer Schools together as well as discussing and debating physics research topics) and as a teacher (through all the courses we were Teaching Assistants in together). As a teacher, Laszlo has a way of simplifying very complicated topics into understandable pieces, while still keeping the big picture of the topic in mind - this was something his students (and myself!) made use of in Laszlo time and time again. Laszlo is an engaging, thought-provoking educator and a pleasure to learn from. I highly recommend him as a Superprof member.
I did my PhD with Laszlo and we were TAs together in a number of courses. We also worked together planning peer-driven lectures for other PhD students.
Laszlo is a terrific lecturer, communicator, and teacher who take the time to carefully organize content for a student's benefit. He has a very strong background in mathematics, physics, and the physical sciences and I would highly recommend working with him.

Laszlo and I were PhD students together at McMaster University and are still good friends. He is a bottomless pit of physics knowledge and an excellent teacher.
Laszlo has helped me on multiple occasions both with my research and with my own teaching. He is always extremely clear, patient and very thorough in his approach.Laszlo helped me with PHYS100. I would highly recommend, he was always prepared for the given topic and explained concepts clearly and as simple as I needed it to be. He was punctual and kind.
